Stylish mahogany cabinet by Jules Leleu, beautifully fitted with gilt bronze mounts designed by Debarre and executed by Perret. France: circa 1953 The cabinet opens to reveal a finely appointed sycamore veneered interior featuring adjustable shelves. The piece is typically signed by hand on a plaque inside the door and stamped on the back : Leleu-Paris, 26 002, made in France. This piece is part of a suite of furniture bought in Paris in 1953, we can provide a copy of the original bill of sale upon request. Provenance: Rawas Collection Montreal , bought directly from Maison Leleu in the the 1950's, original invoice available upon request.
