Large Roman Amphora resting on a neoclassical iron tripod stand with patinated bronze Medusa medallions and lion paws feet. The Amphora dates back to the Roman Empire era and is set in a grand tour stand dating back to the late eighteen or early nineteen century. A true museum piece. Italy. 400 AD

Circa 400 ADCondition Distressed. The ceramic amphora as suffered aging cracks and has been repieced in some areas, all the pieces are original. The iron and bronze stand is in very good original condition.
