Il est composé d'un plateau de marbre blanc dans une bordure de bronze doré à décor de pointes, reposant sur des monopodes de cariatides féminines classiques, reliés par une traverse percée, et reposant sur des pieds toupies. Note : Le modèle original de ce guéridon conçu par Bernard Molitor en 1790 se trouve au Château de Versailles, et s'appelait à l'origine Table à Thé. France: circa 1860
