Pair of Polychrome Ceramic Glazed Vallauris Mirrors by François Lanusé

Pair of Polychrome Ceramic Glazed Vallauris Mirrors by François Lanusé Signed: Lanusé After studying at the Beaux-Arts, he discovered ceramics in the 1960s and embarked on a self-taught training, marked by a pivotal encounter with Daniel de Montmollin in Taizé. Montmollin introduced him to a rigorous approach to ceramics. Settled in Le Castellet in the Var region, Lanusé developed a body of work inspired by Eastern tradition, where the purity of forms engages in a dialogue with the density of materials. Following in Montmollin's footsteps, he conducted extensive research on glazes, seeking to reveal the depth of textures and the vibrancy of colors. provenance: Magen H Gallery, New York | Private Collection France:circa 1960
