Rare Swedish Grace Period Neoclassical Chest of Drawers in Satinwood attributed to Erik Chambert
A rare Swedish grace period chest of drawers in the Art deco neoclassical style in satinwood attributed to Erik Chambert , beautifully inlaid with , maple and elm veneered marquetry work. The raised rectangular bookmatched top, above three marquetry decorated drawers depicting a central shield-shaped reserve surmounted by geometric keys and terminating in acanthus scrolls, the sides curving inward at the base with a Greek key centering a rectangular reserve, on a stepped base and four square legs.
