Important marble and patinated brass "Wagneriana" torchere by Lella and Massimo Vignelli for Casigliani Italy: 1986 provenance: Private Collection, New York the pair established the Lella and Massimo Vignelli Office of Design and Architecture in Milan in 1960, focusing on office accessories, home products, graphics, and furniture. The studio’s clients included Pirelli and Olivetti, among others. In 1965, the Vignellis moved to Chicago and founded, along with six other designers, Unimark International (1965–71), which specialized in corporate graphics. Clients included the likes of American Airlines, Knoll, Bloomingdales, Ford, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Notably, Massimo’s prolific print work championed the Helvetica typeface, encouraging its eventual widespread popularity in the US. In 1971, the couple established Vignelli Associates (known from 1978 on as Vignelli Designs) in New York. They continued to work together until Massimo’s passing in May of 2014.

Large Venini Art Glass Chandelier
Large and important clear and blue Italian round 30 light modernist Murano art glass chandelier by Venini.Provenance: Roberto Calvi, through his son Carlo. Calvi, known as "God's Banker" because of his relationship with the Vatican, was the chairman of Banco Ambrosiano. He led any extremely colorful life which ended in a mysterious murder in London. A heavily fictionalized version of him even appeared in the Godfather III in the character of Frederick Keinszig. Italy.

Solid Bronze illuminated sculpture "Fleur d'or" by Atelier Michel Armand. Canada: circa 1980 Michel Armand Incorporation is a Canadian company. It was founded in 1978 and ended business in 1986. The directors were Robert Martin and Michel Dumas. Probably one of these two persons is the designer, or both. It was a small company with no more than 7 employees. A fair amount of Atelier Michel Armand's production was exported to Europe in its late 70's early 80's. The company produced high quality sculptural bronze lighting in limited editions . Provenance: Private collection of Robin Dery Montreal purchased from the collection a former employee of Atelier Michel Armand in Montreal.

Important Bronze and Glass Chandelier by Jules Leleu
Patinated bronze and frosted glass modernist 12 arms chandelier by Jules Leleu. Provenance: Bernd Goeckler Antiques, Inc., New York France: circa 1945 Authenticated by Alexia Leleu of Maison Leleu, grand-daughter of Jules Leleu. Born in Boulogne sur Mer, France, Leleu studied decorative painting[ and at the age of 26 succeeded his father in the family painting business.With his brother he began work in the Decorating field. AfterWorld War I Leleu specialized in furniture making. He opened a Paris gallery, Maison Leleu, in 1924 and exhibited at the 1925 Exposition Industrielle et Arts Decoratifs, winning a grand prize at the exposition. Leleu designed the Grand Salon of the Ambassadors at the Society of Nations in Geneva and the French Embassies of several nations as well as the ocean liners SS Iles DeFrance and SS Normandie. Jules Leleu worked with Alice Colonieu, she performed for Jules leleu two beautiful ceramic panels for the Ocean Liner Pierre Loti. Leleu often implemented lacquer in his work and efore World War II he worked with Japanese lacquer master Katsu Hamanaka and after the War withPaul Etienne Sain and Henri Tambute.
