Steel Abstract Sculpture by Amadeo Gabino Stamped with a signature lower left and dated "Amedeo Gabino AG 1975." Spain: circa 1975. Provenance:Arras Gallery, New-York, N.Y. François Beaulieu estate, Montréal Spanish painter, sculptor and engraver son of the sculptor Alfonso Gabino. Amadeo started in the art assisting his father in his sculpture workshop. He began his studies at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Carlos in Valencia, which he completed in Rome, Paris, Hamburg and New York. His work consists mainly of complex abstract metal objects and constructivist collages. Amadeo Gabino has had a great variety of individual and collective exhibitions, both nationally and internationally, and has also been awarded several prizes, including the National Printing Prize, International Ibero-American Biennial, Mexico, in 1980.
